Where the Wild Things Are
Follow Max as he is sent to his room for
creating a rukus. Watch as his room becomes
a forest, then an ocean and finally a land full
of wild things. Will Max be able to tame the
wild things? Or will he become a wild thing
himself? In this read-a-long class,
participants will use their imaginations to
create their own friendly giants, using body
movements, facial expressions and sounds to
act them out. Other games will be played in

This storybook play acting class includes a
read along, comprehension discussion and
theatre games based on the story. Guardians
are encouraged to participate with their child
in the class.

Materials: A Copy of the book should be
obtained prior to class.
